TO WIN. TO TRAIN. TO SEND.

Jesus First Christian Ministries (JFCM) is a church-planting ministry founded in June 1987 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We were officially listed with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines on May 31, 1989, as a non-denominational, non-profit, religious Christian organization. It was birthed out of the vision and the desire of the church at the time to obey the "Great Commission" from the Lord (Matthew 28: 18-20). This is envisioned by planting churches and training workers for the work of the ministry under the ministry slogan "TO WIN, TO TRAIN, TO SEND".

Founded on a church planting vision and platform, the JFCM has never stopped trying to fulfill this mandate. The following have been accomplished in terms of churches planted:

1. Overseas churches – since 1987 JFCM has planted 89 overseas churches in 27 cities internationally.

2. National churches – since 1989 JFCM has planted 93 churches all over the country .

These churches are further divided into groups that their respective overseers supervise. Its mission office is located in Mandaluyong, Philippines. The general overseer, Mario Pingol, and 11 other overseers make up the JFCM mission's council of elders.

On Aug 23, 2009, JFCM expanded in Canada. Over the years, the Lord has provisioned us to plant churches across various areas in Canada (Greater Toronto Area, Vancouver, Alberta) with JFCM-Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as the parent church. To date, the following churches were planted: Toronto, Mississauga, North York, Peterborough, Sault Ste Marie, Sudbury all in Ontario. Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta and Vancouver in British Columbia.

Now, with the Lord’s direction, the leadership aims to WIN more souls, TRAIN members through the school of workers and SEND them out to the mission field to plant more churches in Canada or wherever the Lord leads us. The church has grown steadily over the past years. Year after year, new workers are being used in service to the Lord, new projects are being launched by different ministries and new events are being celebrated. Together, the church has grown spiritually through Sunday services, school of workers, bible studies, prayer meetings and fellowships.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe in the bible

We believe that the BIBLE is the infallible word of God and the absolute authority in matters of faith and conduct.

2. We believe in the Holy Trinity.

We believe that God eternally exists in three distinct persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the incarnate Word who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Mary who was a virgin and who died sacrificially for our sins. He was buried, resurrected bodily on the third day, and ascended into heaven. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

4. We believe that all men have sinned against God.

We believe that all men have sinned against God and that they are saved solely by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive work.

5. We believe in the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the eternal Spirit of God sent to the church to empower it to live a holy life and to witness to the whole world.

6. We believe that there is only one church.

We believe that there is only one church, the body of Christ with Jesus as its head and that all believers in every generation belong to it.

7. We believe that the church is tasked by God to preach the gospel to all nations.

8. We believe that Christ will come again.

We believe in the rapture of saints, the second coming of Christ, the resurrection of the body, the judgement of the believers, the judgement of non-believers, and in life everlasting.

9. We believe in the ordinances of Water Baptism and the Breaking of Bread.
